DOGGIE LOVE: DUECE HALES

Its been a while since I've been on here and I've been told to start blogging again! So, here I am with some exciting news.

Boomer has a little brother. His name is Duece Hales. He is an English Bulldog. Now, you are probably wondering why we named him Duece? Vance's football # in HS was 22, and that was also my soccer # in HS. Vance thought it was be a cool name to give our little guy. Duece came to us from a breeder in Arkansas. He was shipped to us last week. We got the call to meet the carriers @ 3:00 am in Fishers to pick him up. Yes, that was very early especially since we both had to work that same morning but, it was like Christmas morning!!! I couldn't sleep at all and just wanted our little man home with us!! He is so adorable as you can see here. He is 10 weeks old. We went to our first vet visit today and everything was great. Boomer loves his little brother. The morning we got home Boom and Duece bonded in no time (as you can see below)! They both have their own cages but Duece never wants to be away from him big brother. We are still working on the potty training with Duece. He hasn't chewed anything up...YET! We love him to peices and think he was a great addition to our little family.

The Fountains-Orlando Florida!!!

BLUEGREEN- THE FOUNTAINS RESORT

We have returned from our First vacation!!!! How amazing it was!!!! The picture above is a picture I took from our room at The fountains resort. We arrived on Monday to rainy weather. But that didn't stop us from getting the party started! Our resort was amazing. It was a two bedroom (master and guest) with a fully stocked kitchen (dishes) a huge patio, flat screen tv's and much more!! Tuesday we went to listen to the hooplaaa about "timeshares." We sat there thinking this is going to be such a waste of time. Comes to find out we ended up buying our own timeshare. We won't have to stay in one more hotel for the rest of our lives. A time share is based off points. We got 6,000 points that day and an extra 4,000 after purchasing. These points we can use anywhere in the world. We also were given unlimited bonus points. This means if I wanted to have a bach. party in Vegas, Europe where ever we only have to pay for flights. So it was in all a great deal for us!















We of course had to go to Universal Studios while we were there. It wasn't as good as California's studios but we still had a great time!!! We spent the entire day walking around the park! Jaws was of course one of my favs. After we hit the park we ate at Bubba Gumps. If you love seafood I strongly recommend this place. Named after Bubba off Forest Gump along with the great crab they quiz you on trivia from Forest Gump. It was in all a great place!!!

FAMILY IS EVERYTHING

My family has always been the most beautiful thing in my life. Those of you that are close to me know James and I were both adopted by the HALES FAMILY. To this day I have never been so blessed in my life. I love EVERYTHING about my family.

When my grandmother passed away I was so down. Both my grandmother and grandfather helped raise James and I when we were younger so our parents could work. They were like second parents to both James and I. My grandma promised a few days before she passed that she would not pass on my birthday September 30th. One of my grandma's other wishes was to buy me a birthday cake. She was able to enjoy a piece as well. We both sat on her bed and ate the cake and just enjoyed our time together. She then asked me to paint her nails. I knew her time was coming closer and I just wanted to spend every second with her. On September 29th of 2007 my grandma took her last breath and went to sleep. Grandma Hales never broke her promise to me.

A month after my

grandma passed away my Aunt Brenda passed away from Cancer. My Aunt and Uncle were in Hawaii taking some time to relax when my aunt who was supposedly cured started having issues with her breathing. So they came home early and went straight to the doctor. My aunt passed away unexpectedly. She's in a better place with no pain. She is an angel!

VANCE AND I ARE GOING TO FLORIDA!!!!

So, Vance and I have not taken a vacation with each other. It's been 11 months today! That may not seem like a long time to a few of you but hey we all start from somewhere. It's been a great 11 months for sure! Anyway, back in the summer Vance and I along with his parents went to the Rib fest downtown. While we were there some lady walked up to me and asked if I wanted to sign up to win 3 trips. One to Florida, Vegas, and Aruba. I said, what the heck! I never win anything so why not. Well guess what? I won all three trips. So the first trip we have to go to is to Orlando Florida! We are going for a week in April. We are so excited!!! I'm definitely looking forward to getting away from everything for a week. I am so EXCITED!!!!! That's all for now!
