Vance and I
"He gave me butterflies"
Vance and I met last year in March at Britton Tavern. No, it wasn't your typical bar introduction. It was different and we were SOBER! I was training for my fitness contest and was on my way home from the gym and tanning bed. I was in sweats and a sweat shirt (yum). A few of my friends were watching the March Madness tourny games at BT and called to see if I wanted to swing by on my way home. I said no, but last minute thought "ok, I'll run in say hey then leave." After I went to see my friends I looked over and saw this guy. He was wearing a reds hat and a red and white stripped shirt. As soon as we saw each other we just smiled. After that smile, everytime we looked at each other it was as if our eyes were stuck on each other. I immediately turned and said "who is that guy over there?" My girlfriend said, "his name is Vance." I said "he's very cute I must say." So after sitting there looking like a hot mess drinking water while everyone else was enjoying a nice cold brew Vance walked over to me. I had tons of butterflies in my stomach. It was as if I fell in love with him in that one second. But how could I have been so sure???? So, we introduced ourselves and then Vance said he had to take off because he had to work early in the morning. I was bummed. But said, "well it was nice meeting you." After he left I then said my goodbyes and also left. After I got home I wanted to know all about Vance. So, I text my girlfriend asking for his number. At this same exact time Vance was also texting my friend asking for my number. After we both had each others digits we were texting/calling 24-7. Vance had invited me to go watch him play softball in indy one night. After we left his game we all met for dinner (which I could not take part in due to my extreme dieting for the show) at Taco Bell. After we were all about to leave Vance pulled me over to talk to him. I was nervous just like the first night we met. He then pulled me over to him and kissed me. The rest is HISTORY. I've never been so incredibly happy in my entire life. He is my life. He is my best friend. I love him with everything I have. He is the ONE for me.
